Sorry if this is a question that has been asked before.  I surfed the forum for a little bit, but I really couldn't find a satisfactory answer.  I picked up Home Premium 64bit Windows 7 on Retail a few days ago, and decided to get Deskscapes, as my current machine is a bit of a beast, and can run the animated backgrounds.  Since I saw nothing on the page that says it wasn't Windows 7 compliant, I decided to buy it, however, when I attempt to download it via Impulse, it says "This Program is not Compatible with your current operating system".

Now, I've seen some people talking about about a Deskscapes 3 beta, but I saw no download link to that, or way to sign up for it.  Is this something I need for Windows 7, or did I sorta of just waste 20$ until it's updated?

Thanks.

In Impulse enable show prereleases (It is on the orb menu at the top left of the window)

Then you can install the Windows 7 compatible version of Deskscapes.

OK, "show pre-release versions" is enabled, but where is the link to download? I don't see it...

It should show under software assuming you have an ObjectDesktop subscription or have purchased DeskScapes 2.  It will show as Deskscapes 2.92

Good, there is an update here. But I want to download full distributive for clean install. Where can I get it?

I am unsure what you are asking.

You do not need to install Deskscapes 2 in order to install Deskscapes 3.

I believe he is asking for a stand-alone link.  There is none for the Deskscapes 3 beta, it can only be downloaded via Impulse.

Thanks for the advice, I was able to get the newer version, and it works great.
